.357 Mambo | Revolucion | Counterfeit

.357 Mambo

Two of the FBI’s top agents in the counter-espionage division in Miami face a major problem.  After arresting three alleged Cuban spies in Miami, an assassin is sent from Cuba to "terminate" the government's main witness in the case.  The assassin is a legendary figure "El Scorpion": a veteran of the wars in Angola and Latin America. The agents must track down this famed "El Scorpion" before he accomplishes his mission.

The movie addresses the Cuba vs. America problems and brings to the fore the political issues that dominates the landscape of Southern Florida.  It also portrays the gritty reality of the spy world in the post cold war era.

.357 Mambo contains fast-paced action and dialog with a large dosage of Cuban-influenced upbeat music and a backdrop of the glowing luminescence of Miami.  The plot is complex with several unexpected twists and turns.  Think of it as the Usual Suspects meets a Cuban “Snatch”.

Archangel currently owns the rights to .357 Mambo.  Rafael Gomez, Esq.—a Cuban-American from Miami wrote the screenplay, with significant input from his brother Gonzalo Gomez, a sergeant in the Police Department.
