At the core of Archangel are the founders, Rafael Gomez, Esq. and Dr. William Russell, both formerly consultants at McKinsey & Company. They both bring significant experience in marketing, management, and business operations. The team is complemented by an outstanding support group of consultants and advisers.

Archangel’s plan is to create a fully integrated strategy around the four key areas of filmmaking: Development, Production, Financing and Distribution.  As producers, Archangel will initiate, co-ordinate, supervise and control all aspects of the motion-picture production process, creative, financial, technological and administrative, throughout all phases from inception to completion. This includes negotiation of production and distribution contracts, as well as overall management of day-to-day operations from pre-production through promotion of the completed films.

Archangel believes that for an independent film production company to be successful, the leadership of the company must possess strong skills in the following areas: strategy, management and creativity. Moreover, to ensure financial success, this has to be accompanied by raw drive and aspiration.  Archangel’s strengths in all of these areas are a significant competitive advantage in the independent film industry (where few are trained business professionals).
